his dryer vent cleaning was completed in Mobile, Alabama at an older home where the termination point on the roof was outdated and not code compliant. The existing roof jack design significantly restricted airflow and was not properly sized to allow lint to discharge efficiently. Because of this restriction at the termination point, lint was accumulating inside the vent line, increasing back pressure on the dryer and reducing overall system performance.
We performed a complete dryer vent cleanout, removing a substantial amount of built-up lint from the duct system.
